The Falcon Flyer: May 2026
Coops Corner
As we move into the final stretch of the school year, May reminds us that great things are often finished—not in the beginning, but in the last moments. This is the time when effort matters most. Exams are ahead, celebrations are near, and students are getting one more chance to prove what they’ve learned, how far they’ve come, and how committed they are to finishing strong. Nelson Mandela’s words capture this perfectly:
“It always seems impossible until it’s done.”— Nelson Mandela
As we head toward the end of the year, we encourage students to keep showing up, stay focused, and follow through—because finishing is not just a moment, it’s a process. Please review the important dates below and help your student stay organized during this final countdown.
Final exams are May 20th and May 21st, and school will be getting out on May 21st. In addition, students will need to clear lockers by Tuesday, May 19. Any remaining items that are not cleared out will be donated, so please encourage students to take care of their belongings before then.
We know there’s a lot happening in a short amount of time—thank you for your support as students close out the year with focus, pride, and confidence.

REMINDER: Only graduating students will return their Chromebooks at the end of the school year. As the end of the year draws closer, please make sure your student can locate the charger (2 pieces), the bag/carrying case, and the Chromebook that was issued to them at the beginning of the year. More details will be shared with students and families through official communications in the coming weeks.
All other returning students (current 9th-, 10th-, and 11th-graders) will retain their Chromebooks during the summer.
