Coops Corner

Hello Northwest High School Community!

March is here, and with it comes the exciting conclusion of Quarter Three! As we prepare for spring break from March 9 to 13, let’s take a moment to reflect on the hard work and dedication shown by our students and staff this quarter.

We’ve enjoyed a variety of activities, from academic achievements to sports events, showcasing our school spirit and commitment to excellence. Following the break, we will kick off Quarter Four on March 16. As we transition into spring, let’s stay motivated and focused on our goals.

Spring break provides a well-deserved opportunity to recharge. We encourage students to explore new interests, relax, and prepare for the final stretch of the school year.

Thank you for your continuous support, and let’s finish Quarter Three strong!

Course Requests for the 2026-2027 School Year

If you have not already done so, please review your student’s course request and contact their school counselor if you have any questions or concerns about the classes they have requested for next year. Students and families can view course requests by selecting the Course Request tab in StudentVUE or ParentVUE. Please note that if your student has either MID TERM GRAD or EARLY GRAD (pictured below) in their course request, they have shared that they plan to graduate early. We recommend that you talk with your student about their plan and make sure this is something you support as well. Counselors will be meeting with potential early graduates next quarter, and more information will be shared with families at that time.

Computing Services

Testing Season is upon us!

It’s said a body needs 8 hours of sleep every night. That’s especially true during the testing season. Student Chromebooks also need a good night of charging. Please help your students remember to bring their Chromebooks fully charged every day.

Walled Garden

There are many “layers” of digital protections that follow your student as they progress through their life in LPS. Informed by federal/state laws, and guided by LPS Board of Education policies, the District builds a digital “walled garden” where students are able to collaborate with peers and teachers, while also keeping their data secure.

Learn more about how your student’s data privacy is protected here: LPS Computing Services | Data Privacy
